About me

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business owner, Sarah prides herself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Her approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything she does reflects her commitment to excellence. She is were aware of the rapid growth of our local community, combined with a busy modern lifestyle and a demand for convenient, high quality services, which sparked the idea to start Tamahere Mobile Vet.

Sarah graduated from Massey University in 2012, and worked in mixed practice until 2019.  Since then she has worked in various small-animal locum roles around Hamilton and Waikato. Shas a background in animal health, pharmacology research and development, a masters degree and over 14 years experience as a practicing veterinarian.  She has a special interest in canine sports medicine, and extensive experience working with greyhounds as both racing and pet dogs.

These days she's a busy mum of two young children, guardian to a collection of animals, and passionate mountain biker (when she finds the time).  

Sarah is a long-time greyhound fan and devoted dog mum. She has extensive experience with these special dogs. She prides herself on  providing knowledgeable and tailored care for pets and their families.

This business is operated by SC Veterinary Services Ltd (trading as Tamahere Mobile Vet). SC Veterinary Services Ltd is the contracting entity for all veterinary services, payments and client agreements.
